CS46H type diaphragm box steam trap
Thermostatic diaphragm-box steam trap (steam pressure balance type) is the most commonly used advanced energy-saving trap in the world. The reaction of the diaphragm steam trap is very sensitive. There is high temperature condensate water in front of the valve when it works. There is no steam leakage. The energy saving effect is remarkable.
Its advantages are: automatic air exhaust, small size, not afraid of freezing, can be installed in any position; easy maintenance, inspection and repair in the pipeline and replacement parts; maximum back pressure ratio < 80%, strong diaphragm box, long service life.
It is suitable for steam main line, steam heat tracing pipe network, instrument heat tracing and steam resistance and drainage of small heating equipment, and has a wide range of applications.
Working Principle of Diaphragm Steam Trap
The main action element of the diaphragm-box steam trap is a metal diaphragm box filled with a liquid whose gasification temperature is lower than the saturation temperature of water. When the device was just started, low temperature condensation water appeared in the pipeline, and the liquid in the diaphragm box was in the condensation state. The valve is in the open position. When the temperature of condensate water increases gradually, the liquid filling in the diaphragm box begins to evaporate, the pressure in the diaphragm box rises, and the diaphragm drives the valve center to move towards the closing direction. Before the condensate water reaches the saturation temperature, the trap closes completely, and the diaphragm box controls the valve switch with the change of steam temperature, thus playing the role of steam resistance and drainage. There are two kinds of diaphragm boxes with open valve temperature lower than saturation temperature 15 C and 30 C for selection.
